35 Years Of Fun and Live Music The Corner Bar opened its doors to the public August 1, 1981. The Fremont landmark, owned by Jerry Fullington and Randy Trahan, quickly became a downtown hot spot for good times and good fun. Mural Adds Color, Patriotism to Landscape

Graphic artist Chris Bristol has spent part of his summer adding a splash of color to the Sinclair Expressway station at Military and Clarmar Avenues. Previously there had been a flag mural at the location that had deteriorated over the last few years. Bristol was commissioned to refurbish the mural by the Fremont Avenue of Flags organization. In addition to the waving flag, there are familiar elements of Nebraska landscapes and agriculture with the additions of a grain elevator and windmill.
